Justin Bieber Breaks Drake’s Billboard Record

Justin Bieber is on a roll following the hugely successful release of his latest album, Purpose.
Justin Bieber sets new Billboard record
Purpose sold over 650,000 units in its first week, the biggest opening of the year so far (until Adele’s 1 week tally is collated.)

The album has also seen Bieber break a record that was previously held jointly by The Beatles and Drake: Most songs on the Billboard Hot 100 at any point in time.
The previous record was 14 songs, but Bieber currently has a stunning 17 songs on the chart, easily breaking the record.
Bieber has 3 songs in the top 10: SorryLove Yourself and What Do You Mean?
Bieber also easily smashed The Weeknd’s record for most Spotify streams in a week, with Purpose being streamed a shattering 205 million times compared to Beauty Behind The Madness’ 77 million.
