Miss Phillipines She Hasn’t Spoken To Miss Colombia Since De-Crowning

One of the biggest moments on television in 2015 was when Steve Harvey 2015 Miss Universe host  accidentally crowning the wrong winner

Harvey had announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Guiterrez as the winner, giving her a crown and flowers before coming back to announce that she was actually the first runner up, and that Miss Phillipines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, was the actual winner.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Wurtzbach revealed that the whole incident still surprised her, adding that she wasn’t sure if she going to keep the crown.
“I was confused. I wasn’t sure what was going on,” Pia said. “I didn’t expect that to happen at all. I had to ask my [manager] many times like, ‘Did I really win? Am I really Miss Universe? Are you going to take the crown from me now?’ And they [said], ‘No, no, you’re really the winner.’”
About Guiterrez, she said: “She was crying and then there was a crowd around her, the girls who were comforting her. I was actually very close to her already, but I decided that maybe it was bad timing to do it now — to apologize to her for what happened. So maybe I’ll do that in the future.”
