I'ts 2015 rankings for the highest paid people in music, which was released by Forbes and the list is topped by Katy Perry.
Perry ruled the music world thanks to her Prismatic world tour, which brought in over $2 million per city, and was only behind Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in the list of all celebrities.
Katy Perry had a overall haul of $135 million, just enough to beat second-placed One Direction, who made $130 million over the year in review.
One
Direction, arguably the biggest boy band in the world right now, also
made huge money from touring like Perry did, performing at over 70
venues over the year, making over a million dollars per stop.
Country icon Garth Brooks was some way back at 3rd place with earnings of $90 million, with Taylor Swift ($80 million) and The Eagles ($73.5 million) rounding out the top 5.
