Queen Latifah: Nicki Minaj Is One Of The Greats

Nicki Minaj has become a force in hip-hop despite her relatively short career, and according to iconic rapper Queen Latifah, she’s one of the game’s greats.

Nicki has won a slew of awards already, dominated both pop and rap charts and upstaged even the best of rappers from Jay Z to Kanye West.
The Anaconda rapper attended the VH1 Big In 2015 with boyfriend Meek Mill, and host Queen L paid particular praise to her.
“You’ve become an inspiration everywhere,” Queen Latifah said. “I love how you were never afraid to speak your mind. You’re a strong woman. You refuse to be backed into a corner.”
She hailed Nicki as “an inspiration to women,” and also called her a “force within the hip-hop community” and, eventually, “one of the greats.”
